Reservations and Payments
Reservations are subject to availability and become confirmed only after you receive a booking confirmation. A deposit or full payment may be required depending on the selected rate.
Guests are responsible for providing accurate personal, contact, and payment information. The hotel may cancel reservations containing incorrect or fraudulent information.
Rates, taxes, included services, occupancy limits, and cancellation conditions will be displayed during booking. Additional services requested during the stay may incur separate charges.
Changes and Cancellations
Requests to change a reservation are subject to availability and possible rate differences. Cancellation and refund eligibility will be determined by the conditions attached to the selected booking.
If the hotel cannot honour a confirmed reservation due to exceptional circumstances, we will make reasonable efforts to offer alternative accommodation or provide an appropriate refund.
Guest Responsibilities
Guests must follow hotel policies, safety instructions, and applicable Sri Lankan laws. Guests are financially responsible for damage or loss caused by themselves, their visitors, or members of their booking.
Hotel Facilities
Access to facilities may occasionally be limited because of maintenance, weather, safety requirements, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Facility descriptions and photographs are provided for general guidance and may be updated without notice.
Liability
The Bay Arugam Bay will take reasonable measures to provide a safe and comfortable stay. However, the hotel is not responsible for loss, delay, injury, or disruption resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Guests participate in swimming, surfing, excursions, transportation, and other activities at their own risk. Services provided by independent third parties are subject to those providers’ terms.
Website Use
All website content—including text, photographs, branding, and design—is owned by or licensed to The Bay Arugam Bay. It may not be copied, republished, or commercially used without written permission.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Sri Lanka.
